Just BELIEVE...



How could a Big Bang bring about the order observed around us. Imagine an explosion in a warehouse. It is difficult to imagine any kind of order following such an event. Believing that God created everything we see is very easy - just Believe...

God planted in our consciousness an awareness of Him that no other animal shares. We are Aware of Him and have been since the beginning of our time on the earth. In the Bible, men have written words said to be the Inspired Word of God. In the beginning Man's awareness of God would have been great. His knowledge of other things would have been tiny. Even today Man's understanding and knowledge of the world is miniscule when compared to the vast knowledge and wisdom of God the Creator.

To understand this leads to a greater understanding of the Bible itself. Man cannot hope to understand everything around him, but a knowledge of God's word in the Bible can lead to a better understanding of what we are doing on this earth in the first place, and of what is God's overall plan for us. Through this knowledge we can have Peace in our Spirit.

To experience first hand what it was like to be Human, God became flesh and lived for a time on the earth. He saw his son born in a lowly place to humble parents. He watched him grow.. He spoke with him every day. He saw him persecuted when OTHERS accused him of saying he was the son of God. He saw him die an agonising and undeserved death on a cross. He experienced the pain of death of a loved one... His own son!

We spend our lives battling in our minds trying to understand the meaning of it all. Our puny little minds have failed to embrace the message of Christ... that we should LOVE the Lord our God (our CREATOR Father in Heaven) with all our mind body and soul, we should love each other as He has loved us. All we can do is by our own actions step closer to our own inevitable destruction, or We can BELIEVE.

Our father in heaven cares deeply for every one of us. He is holding out His hand like a father to his son. He longs to embrace us to his bosom, but we resist His call. To BELIEVE is to hold out our hand to His, to allow Him to lift us up, to pass to Him all our burdens, to let Him carry us for a while in His loving arms.

He sent His son to US that we might come to know that no matter what we have done He will forgive us as a father forgives his son. Though we have, as individuals, as a family, as a Nation turned our back on our own Creator, he will forgive us this Greatest of sins and accept us back to HIM and offer us HIS deepest most caring embrace. We just have to BELIEVE...
